Full-Service Air Ambulance Aircraft Acquisition & Conversion Management
What We Do
Tradesman Aero is a full-service air ambulance aircraft acquisition company specializing in the sourcing, purchase, and complete conversion of King Air and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft into certified air ambulance platforms. We manage the entire aircraft acquisition process, from identifying the right aircraft and negotiating the purchase to overseeing the full air ambulance conversion through final delivery and airworthiness acceptance. A single conversion brings together brokers, lenders, maintenance facilities, STC holders, interior providers, and avionics shops. Tradesman Aero coordinates all of them on your behalf.
Vendor Neutral
We are paid only by our clients. We hold no referral arrangements, commissions, or financial relationships with any vendor whose services we recommend. Every recommendation is made in your interest.
Full Lifecycle
We manage the complete air ambulance acquisition and conversion process, from initial aircraft sourcing and purchase through STC-compliant interior conversion, avionics upgrades, and final delivery acceptance. One company. One point of accountability.
King Air & PC-12 Focus
We specialize exclusively in King Air and Pilatus PC-12 air ambulance aircraft acquisition and conversion. Our focus is intentionally narrow, because depth of expertise in these specific platforms and this mission type is what produces results.
Documented & Accountable
Every engagement is governed by a defined statement of work, a master project schedule, weekly status reports, and a complete delivery package. No surprises. No loose ends.
Who We Serve
Tradesman Aero works with organizations that operate or are establishing fixed-wing air ambulance programs and need a full-service partner to handle the complete aircraft acquisition and conversion process, from sourcing the right King Air or Pilatus PC-12 airframe through certifying a complete, mission-ready air ambulance.
Independent Air Ambulance Operators
Established air medical operators expanding or refreshing their King Air or PC-12 fleet, where internal staff bandwidth doesn't support dedicated project management.
Hospital-Based Flight Programs
Hospital systems adding or upgrading fixed-wing transport capability, where aviation expertise is strong but complex acquisition and conversion management is new territory.
Regional EMS Systems
Regional emergency medical systems building out critical care transport capability, often managing their first major aircraft acquisition and conversion project.
Special Mission Operators
Government or private operators acquiring King Air or Pilatus PC-12 aircraft for special mission configurations who need vendor-neutral project oversight and documentation discipline.
About Tradesman Aero
The Founder
Jon Noble started his career in the trades, framing homes and working as a carpenter. After carpentry school and time with a custom home contractor, he founded his own residential remodeling company and spent years running builds where the schedule, the subcontractors, and the final result were his to answer for.
Aviation was always there in the background. After a demanding year in construction he earned his private pilot certificate and fell in love with the aviation community. A role with an aircraft broker introduced him to the air medical industry, and it stuck. Today he devotes his time to building Tradesman Aero and working alongside operators to acquire their next air ambulance platform.
Our Commitment
Tradesman Aero is a full-service air ambulance aircraft acquisition company that directs sourcing, purchase negotiation, conversion management, and delivery acceptance for King Air and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, all under one engagement, all representing the operator. We accept no commission, referral fee, or vendor compensation of any kind connected with a client project. This is not a marketing claim. It is a firm policy documented in every client agreement.
Our referral partners send qualified clients to us. We do not accept payment from the vendors we recommend to those clients. The line is clear, and we protect it.
Giving Back to Veteran Organizations
Tradesman Aero gives back to veteran organizations as part of our commitment to the communities we operate in. The discipline, sacrifice, and service that veterans represent are values we admire and want to support. A portion of company earnings is directed toward organizations that serve veterans and their families.
What We Deliver
As a full-service King Air and Pilatus PC-12 air ambulance acquisition company, Tradesman Aero manages every phase of the process on your behalf. Below is what each engagement delivers: the outcomes, the documentation, and the protections at every stage. The methods are our expertise; the results are yours.
Before you commit to an aircraft, you need a clear picture of what you actually need, and a disciplined evaluation of what's available across the King Air and PC-12 markets. We define your requirements and identify qualified candidates on your behalf, with no connection to any seller or broker.
The conversion process is where most air ambulance aircraft acquisitions lose time, money, and control. Scope creep, vendor delays, and undocumented change orders are the rule when no one manages the conversion exclusively on the buyer's behalf. As your full-service acquisition and conversion manager, Tradesman Aero owns that process for you, from STC compliance and interior installation through avionics upgrades and final sign-off.
Final delivery is when the details matter most and when operators are most vulnerable to accepting an aircraft that is not truly complete. We manage the delivery process to ensure every item is resolved before you sign off.
Not every question requires a full engagement. If you need expert input on a specific King Air or PC-12 deal, a vendor quote, a conversion statement of work, or an inspection report, Tradesman Aero is available on an hourly or daily advisory basis.
The Compensation Policy That Protects You
Tradesman Aero accepts no vendor-paid commission, referral fee, or compensation of any kind connected with a client engagement unless it is expressly approved by the client in writing and credited against the client's fees. In practice, Tradesman Aero is paid only by its clients. This policy is documented in every engagement agreement. It is not a promise, it is a contractual commitment.
